In order to avoid any issues with GDPR or other internet laws, I'm taking a couple of less pleasant steps.
First, you'll now see the dreaded pop-up about cookies when you visit the site. Sorry. Colibri Cytometry doesn't store visitors' data, but the website is made using Wix, and from what I can tell, Wix collects some information. As far as I can tell, hitting "Deny" on the banner doesn't affect the site's functionality at all, so feel free to do that.
Second, I've removed the option to log-in and become a site member. I put this in place to discourage spamming of the comments section on the blog by people selling weird stuff online, but I think this is too much of a potential problem for what it's worth. So, if you want to comment, please either do so on LinkedIn, Substack or via email.
